Litchfield Veterinary Hospital is committed to bringing pet families the latest in veterinary treatment options and we are pleased to offer the benefits of minimally invasive diagnostic procedures using endoscopic equipment.  Our doctors reach the source of the medical problem through the use of a long tubular fiber optic camera inserted through natural openings or a small incision. The flexible or rigid scope magnifies images 30 times and are displayed on a high definition monitor providing our doctors a clear view of their patient’s anatomy, allowing them to investigate, diagnose and develop a targeted treatment quickly and efficiently.  With a series of small instruments, our doctors can then perform a biopsy as well as foreign body removal.  There is little discomfort following these procedures and overall healing and recovery are quicker too.
