Dr. Kate Lavery

Dr. Lavery grew up in Newington, CT and loves exploring different areas of Connecticut. Dr. Lavery’s interest in animals started with the love of her family’s dogs and cats. Her interest in veterinary medicine was made even stronger by participating in a shadowing program offered by her high school. By working at veterinary hospitals prior to and during veterinary school and volunteering at The Maritime Aquarium, Dr. Lavery has gained a wealth of experience with small animals and marine animals. She completed her Bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences at Marist College, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University.

Since graduating, she has practiced in New Hampshire and Connecticut allowing her to be close to friends and family.  Dr. Lavery joined our team in June of 2019.

Dr. Lavery enjoys general practice and has an interest in ultrasound and internal medicine.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, photography, and spending time with family, friends, and her cat, Arabella.
